Artist Residencies

The society awards two residencies each year, to artists from all over the world. Each resident artist is given the opportunity to work and live rent free in the resident artists studio, in the Art-house, Wiesbaden.
The residencies are currently endowed with Euro 1.250, monthly. Electricity, water and heating are free. There is an internet connection.

At the end of the four month stay the resident is expected to present the works, that have been made during their stay, in a solo exhibition in the Bellevue-Saal. The exhibition will be subsidized with Euro 1.500, against the corresponding receipts.
The exhibition will be documented by a six page folding catalogue (DIN 4), which is financed by the art society.

The residences aren´t destined for applicants from our region Wiesbaden, Mainz, Frankfurt and Darmstadt.

The jury, comprises members of the committee. It makes all the decisions about applications. There is no legal recourse.

Applications for the residencies must be sent by the 30th april (post date) for the following year.
